Technology Level
NEW TECHNOLOGY
It is a state-of-the-art product designed in a single case and on a single printed circuit board (PCB). There are minimal external links. Mechanical, electronic and software integration is at the highest level. Providing flexible solution opportunities, it is environmentally friendly with its compact structure and operates without failure.
OLD TECHNOLOGY
Some companies are trying to adapt new technology into their old modular chassis structures. However, thisl modular system can not provide mechanical, electronic and software integration and creates many connection problems and malfunctions due to the intermediate cables. In terms of software and electronical terms, they are inflexible and they remain inadequate to meet demands.
19” cabinet height for 16 QAM output
1U
Thanks to its compact design, it takes up much less space and can be used in small cabins. It does not cause power supply failure.
6U+6U = 12U
It is an old technology solution that is bulky, heavy, requires 3 types of interconnection cables and requires difficult connections between modules, and cannot be used in small cabinets. 2 power supplies should be used. Since power supplies are the unit that breaks down the most, this solution is twice as unsafe. Due to such  malfunctions, a sub-industry and market for power supply transformers has emerged.
Energy consumption
60Watt
Thanks to its high-tech design, energy consumption is minimal. There is no need to install air conditioning. It provides annual electricity bill savings of approximately 150 USD.
120 Watt
Overheating, inefficient and old technology design causes both higher bill payments and overheating of the cabin. Installation of air conditioning is mandatory.
RF signal output power
80…107dBµV
There is no need for an output amplifier.
80dBµV
Due to the low output level, an output amplifier is required, which consumes 11 Watts of energy. Additional cable connections increase the error rate and energy consumption.
Use of “RF Bridge Cable” between modules
NO need
The entire design is made on a single printed circuit board (PCB). No need for intermediate cables
Need NECESSARY
In each module connection, a total of 2..4 RF bridge cables must be used for both satellite input and QAM output. During insertion/removal of modules, these bridges are deformed and RF transmission is disrupted. Due to such malfunctions, a sub-industry and market for these cables was formed.
Use of “Energy Cable” between modules
NO need
The entire design is made on a single printed circuit board (PCB). There is no need for intermediate cables.
Need NECESSARY
A power cable must be used to connect the modules with the power supply. Over time, transmission problems will definitely occur due to oxidation and heat. Due to such malfunctions, a sub-industry and market for these cables has been formed.
Use of “Ethernet Bridge Cable” between modules
NO need
The entire design is made on a single printed circuit board (PCB). There is no need for intermediate cables.
Need NECESSARY
A total of 2 Ethernet bridge cables must be used for each module connection.
16/24 input-16 output broadcast pool technology
Available
All 16/24 received satellite broadcasts are brought together to create a broadcast pool. The desired channels from this broadcast pool are grouped and distributed to 16 outputs. All broadcast requests are fulfilled with complete flexibility.
NOT Available
In this old technology solution, a broadcast pool is created by receiving only 4 satellite broadcasts and can be given to only 2 outputs. This solution is not flexible enough to respond to additional requests and demands that may arise in the future.
